ROOFING PROBLEMS
Your Roof, Checked and Refreshed.
Your roof used to look sharp. Algae, moss, lichen, and surface staining change that over time. We soft wash it all off.
While we are up there, we inspect the full roof — flashing, shingles, penetrations, and anything showing early signs of wear. We document it all and tell you what we find. Cleaner roof. Clearer picture. That is the Andes Way.

Ask Us Most
INVISIBLE FIRST OPEN
Is roof washing right for my roof?
It depends on the condition and age of the roof. If your roof has significant damage, missing shingles, or active leaks, those need to be addressed before washing makes sense. Washing is maintenance, not a fix. We will tell you during the tune-up if washing is appropriate or if something else should come first.
INVISIBLE FIRST OPEN
Will it fix my leak or repair damaged shingles?
No. Roof washing is a cleaning and maintenance service. It does not repair damage, address leaks, or restore shingles that are worn or missing. If your roof has those issues, we will identify them during the tune-up and talk through your options.
INVISIBLE FIRST OPEN
Will it damage my shingles?
Not if it is done correctly. Andes uses soft washing — a low-pressure application of cleaning solution — not high-pressure washing. Pressure washing can strip granules and shorten shingle life. Soft washing is the right approach for asphalt shingles.

What is the difference between soft washing and pressure washing?
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to blast the surface. That can damage asphalt shingles by stripping the granules that protect them. Soft washing uses a cleaning solution applied at low pressure to kill and loosen organic growth. It is safer for your shingles and more effective against algae and moss.

How often should I have this done?
It depends on your roof’s exposure to shade, moisture, and organic growth. Some roofs need it every few years. Others less frequently. We can give you a realistic recommendation after the inspection.
