We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Roofing Estimator to join
our growing team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates
for commercial roofing projects while helping drive profitable growth for the company.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, blueprint
reading, estimating practices, and project coordination. If you are motivated, organized, and

Primary Responsibilities
- Review blueprints, specifications, and bid documents for commercial roofing projects
- Perform roof inspections, site visits, and field measurements
- Prepare accurate estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Develop and submit detailed proposals and bid packages
- Solicit and compare pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Attend pre-bid meetings and project walkthroughs as needed
- Coordinate project handoff information with project managers and operations teams
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and bid documents
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, consultants, and general contractors
- Ensure all estimates align with company profitability goals, safety standards, and project requirements
Qualifications/Experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of commercial roofing experience required
- Experience in commercial roofing estimating or commercial construction estimating preferred
- Knowledge of roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, metal, and/or built-up roofing
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Physical Requirements
- Experience with estimating software such as The EDGE, Dataforma, Centerpoint
- Connect, Roofsnap, Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Understanding of OSHA safety standards and commercial construction practices
- Experience working with property managers, consultants, and general contractors.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary of $80,000–$120,000 annually, based on experience
